Day 1 - Arrival in Sao Vicente
Your adventure begins when you land at the charming airport on the island of São Vicente. Here you will be warmly welcomed by our team, who will ensure a smooth transfer to your hotel in Mindelo, the island’s vibrant cultural capital. Rest up and prepare for the wonderful journey that awaits you.

Day 2 - Car excursion to explore the island of St Vincent
After breakfast, we set off on an enchanting tour of the island in a comfortable vehicle. Let yourself be impressed by the lushness of Monte Verde, the unique contrast of the beaches of Salamansa and Baía das Gatas and the splendour of Praia Grande and Calhau. At each stop, you will discover the natural beauty and diversity that make São Vicente a true paradise. At the end of the day, you will return to your hotel in the city centre.

Day 3 - Departure to Santo Antão: Hike in the Paul Valley
Early in the morning, take the boat to the green island of Santo Antão. Reception at the harbour of Porto Novo by your driver, then transfer via the coastal road to the end of the route through the Paul Valley, considered the greenest and most cultivated valley of the archipelago. This picturesque valley offers adventurers a unique hiking experience. When you explore the Paul Valley in Cape Verde, you will immediately be amazed by its lush landscape. All around rise imposing mountains covered in exotic vegetation, with terraces planted with coffee, bananas, guavas, sugar cane, orange trees and all kinds of vegetables, while rivers meander through the landscape. You can also visit traditional farming communities where farmers grow fresh produce and practise traditional farming techniques. You will also have the opportunity to visit a rum distillery and taste its production if you wish. The hike ends in the seaside village of Pombas.

Day 4 - Hike Cruzinha - Fontainhas - Ponta do Sol
After breakfast, you will be picked up by the driver and taken to the village of Cruzinha to start your hike. The transfer is via the Garça valley. This is followed by an enchanting coastal hike on a light-coloured path carved into the mountains. We walk along the villages of Formiguinhas, Corvo and Fontainhas, a famous hut village. Overnight stay 2 nights in Ponta do Sol.

Day 5 - Loop in the Cha de Pedras valley
In the morning, our driver will pick you up and take you to the valley of Ribeira Grande. You will hike up the valley of Chã das Pedras until you enter the remote and wild circus of Aguada, a secret paradise where the hamlets lost in the mountains are surrounded by terraced crops irrigated by an impressive work of canals and reservoirs. At the end of the hike, you will return to your accommodation with a 15-minute transfer.

Day 6 - Waterfalls in Xoxo - Chã do Morto
Today you will visit the enchanting agricultural valley of Xoxo and the spectacular Vinha waterfall. Be amazed by the lush natural beauty and the relaxing sound of the cascading water. A perfect day to connect with nature and enjoy the tranquillity of this idyllic setting. At the end of the day, you will be picked up by our driver and taken to Chã de Morto, via the Corda road. There you will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 7 - Hike from Alto Mira - Col de Forquinha - Cha de Morte
Transfer to Alto Mira (15 minutes). Hike to discover the semi-arid landscape of Ribeira das Patas, between oases, basalt rocks and agricultural villages. At the end of the hike, you will be picked up by the driver in Chã do Morto and transferred to Tarrafal to spend 2 nights.

Day 8 - Monte Trigo with the locals
You take a coastal path on foot to Monte Trigo. At some point you will be able to see a volcano in the distance, the Topo de Coroa. It’s a beautiful place to watch the stars. In Monte Trigo, you have the choice of taking the boat back to Tarrafal or spending a night in this charming fishing village, which I highly recommend, as this place is simply beautiful and the locals are very hospitable. The luggage stays at the hotel in Tarrafal and you only take a backpack with you for the overnight stay.

Day 9 - Traditional fishing with local fishermen under the summit of the island
From the village of Monte Trigo, located at the tip of the island of Santo Antão, you can go on a voyage of discovery with the fishermen along the wild coast of the island below the imposing peak (Tope de Coroa, 1979 m) and learn about their work. For lunch, you will reach the remote village of Tarrafal by boat.

Day 10 - Ferry to São Vicente and day off
In the morning after breakfast you will be picked up by our driver and taken to the harbour in Porto Novo. When you arrive in São Vicente there is also a transfer from the harbour to the hotel. Enjoy a free day to explore the cultural city.

Day 11 - Snorkelling with turtles
After a delicious breakfast, a transfer will take you to São Pedro beach. Here you have the unique opportunity to swim with the majestic sea turtles in their crystal-clear waters. Feel the serenity as these graceful creatures swim around you and enjoy the sun on the beautiful beach of São Pedro. Safety distances are always maintained to ensure that the turtles are not disturbed in their natural behaviour.
Turtles benefit from protection measures due to their endangered status and the threats they face, such as habitat loss, pollution and poaching. Non-governmental organisations and local initiatives have implemented conservation programmes to protect them. These include monitoring nesting beaches, protecting nests from predators and educating the local population about the importance of sea turtle conservation.
After a day full of unforgettable experiences, return to your hotel in Mindelo to relax and later see a bit more of the town and shop for souvenirs.

Day 12 - Arrival on the island of Santiago
After landing at the airport on the island of Santiago, you will be warmly welcomed by our local representative and transferred to your comfortable hotel in the capital Praia. Enjoy the rest of the day to relax and acclimatise to the vibrant atmosphere of the Cape Verdean capital.

Day 13 - Visit Cidade Velha
Cidade Velha, the first capital of Cabo Verde, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the island of Santiago. Spend the day visiting the historic Fort Real de São Filipe and the Museu de Arte e Arqueologia before strolling through the charming streets of the old town. Enjoy the afternoon at Praia de Cidade Velha and relax on the quiet beach. In the evening, sample the local cuisine and watch a beautiful sunset over the Atlantic. An unforgettable place to experience history and culture.

Day 14 - Cidade Velha to Tarrafal - nature, mountains and fishing villages
On the first day, you will travel from Cidade Velha via Assomada to the Serra Malagueta Nature Park, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and lush vegetation. Then continue to Tarrafal, a quiet fishing village known for its idyllic beach. Relax on Tarrafal beach and enjoy a dinner of fresh seafood before spending the next 3 nights in this peaceful village.

Day 15 and 16- 2 relaxing days in Tarrafal
Spend 2 relaxing days in Tarrafal, an idyllic fishing village on Santiago. On the first day, relax on the tranquil Tarrafal beach, enjoy the sun and sea or savour fresh seafood in local restaurants. The second day invites you to go snorkelling to discover the colourful underwater world. Alternatively, you can take a boat trip along the coast or enjoy a walk along the picturesque coastline. Tarrafal offers a perfect mix of relaxation and small adventures.

Day 17 - Goodbye, Cape Verde!
The transfer from Tarrafal to the airport in Praia takes you along the picturesque coastal road, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding mountains. The journey takes around 1.5 to 2 hours before you arrive at Praia airport to board your flight home.
