Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Sao Vicente
Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the airport and escort you to your hotel located in the city center. Depending on your flight time, you can take a walk around the central square or relax on the beach.

Day 2 - Santo Antão to Aguada
Early in the morning, you will depart by boat to Santo Antão. Upon arrival at Porto Novo port, your guide will take you on a scenic drive towards Espongeiros, passing the Cova crater (a great spot for photos and sampling local products). Continue by car to the village of Lin de Covo on the Lagoa plateau, where you’ll begin a hike to the village of Aguada, enjoying stunning views of lush sugar cane, yam, cassava, and other crops. You will overnight with a local family.

Day 3 - Cha de Pedras Valley and Caibros Village
After breakfast, depart from Aguada and head into Cha de Pedras valley, following a beautiful road that offers panoramic views of the surrounding areas. You will then reach Caibros village and continue to Boca Ambas as Ribeiras, where your driver will meet you for a transfer to Cha de Igreja village for your overnight stay.

Day 4 - Cruzinha to Ponta do Sol
After breakfast, travel by road to the village of Cruzinha. From there, embark on a beautiful coastal hike carved into the mountains, passing through the villages of Formiguinhas, Corvo, and Fontainhas, a picturesque hilltop settlement. A family will host your lunch in Formiguinhas, and in the afternoon, continue to Ponta do Sol, a charming fishing village.

Day 5 - Ribeira da Torre Valley and Vinha Waterfall
Enjoy a short transfer to Ribeira da Torre Valley, a deep volcanic gorge with towering cliffs. Spend the day exploring the local rural life and crops, and visit the stunning Vinha waterfall. The sound of cascading water will guide you through rocky paths and palm forests. After soaking in the beauty of the waterfall, continue your hike along Santo Antão’s scenic trails before returning to Ponta do Sol for the night.

Day 6 - Paul Valley Trek and Return to Mindelo
In the morning, with your guide, a short transfer will bring you to the end of the Paul trail. From Cabo de Ribeira, a fertile area full of local culture, you can sample traditional products at local homes and visit a rum distillery. After the excursion, head back to Porto Novo for your 5:00 PM boat ride back to Mindelo.

Day 7 - Exploring São Vicente Island
From Mindelo, your guide will take you to Monte Verde, the highest peak of São Vicente, offering sweeping views of the city and surrounding islands. Then, descend and continue to Baía das Gatas, known for its cat sharks, a popular destination among locals. Continue to Praia Grande beach and the fishing village of Calhau. You’ll also have the chance to hike around an ancient volcano, discovering unique geological features. Return to Mindelo via Calhau’s oasis.

Day 8 - Paddleboarding Introduction
At 10 AM, depart for Praia Laginha in Mindelo, known for its clear waters and golden sands. Here, you’ll enjoy an introductory session to paddleboarding with an experienced instructor, learning the basics in a safe and beautiful environment. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to relax, swim, or explore the area at your leisure.

Day 9 - Swimming with Turtles and Free Afternoon
In the morning, travel to São Pedro beach for a memorable experience swimming with sea turtles. The afternoon is free for you to relax, enjoy the beach, or engage in other activities such as bodysurfing or diving. You can also hire a car to explore the island or join a local fisherman for a boat ride.

Day 10 - Return Flight
Transfer to the airport for your return flight, according to your flight schedule.
